I saw a really cute pair of pumps the other day that had ribbon woven through holes punched around the openings, and you could change out the ribbon or remove it for differnt looks. Might be an easy thing to do (and might totally ruin them too of course.) I think removable bows are a good idea. you can probably even buy shoe clips with bows already made.
