EGL Tea Parties and Hello
Feb. 27th, 2004 02:10 amHello Lolitas (and Aristocrats, anyone? ^_^) I'm a long time lurker, but I thought it would be interesting to share this link my friend
digikoomi shared with me. It documents two tea parties held in, I think, Japan. The various outfits seem to be of high quality and features a violinist!
And to properly introduce myself: I've been fascinated with elegant gothic fashion for a couple of years and had a difficult time finding garments and accessories to accurately match my tastes. Then, through a lolita I met on a forum last summer, I discovered there was a label for this fashion style I liked: EGA. Though I tend to mix other styles (such as punk, cyber, career, industrial, and etc.) with EGA elements, I find it nice that there is a some sort of consistent basis of elegant gothic fashion that I can always refer to or fall back on. I have no appropiate pictures of myself to share here yet, but perhaps after the elegant/gothic lolita/j-rock themed photoshoot in NYC a few photos will be available.
