I don't know what your idea of inappropriate is, but there isn't anything sexual or overly violent in them.

It depends on what your parents view as "inappropriate." There are occasional pictures of young women and men in bondage/fetish gear, though nothing too drastic. Also, sometimes you'll find someone in langerie (definately not as raunchy as most Victoria Secret ads, so there's nothing too bad with that). If you are truly worried your parents will disapprove, I suggest showing them this website (http://www.blue-period.fsnet.co.uk/egl.html), which features various scans from the G&L Bibles.

If you have parents that are very picky, they I think they will find things that they think are inappropriate...

Examples (just because i have them handy ^_^):

In G&L Bible #7 on the second two pages is an Alice Auaa ad that has distorted nude models... The rest of the mook is pretty tame, though ^_^;; and in volume they show you how to make *gasp* little chocolates in the shape of underbust corsets... With breasts! In #10, there is an article on eroticism or something in books with very small pictures of book covers.

If your parents are tolerant of fashion in general, you'll probably be fine. You could always order just one to preview it, since they don't come out all that often and are quite expensive for their small page number.

*cough*

There was one shocking manga where a guy was doing a chicken in one of the early issues and it was just WRONG. I didn't like it. I thought it was tacky. So you might offend a parent if they look at that one. Its in issue 6.

I think that the bibles are very tame. It is my personal opinion. More tame than several mags here (full with scantily clad women striking overly sexual poses).. >_<;

I mean even the lingerie, there's *almost* no g-strings at all. The lingerie seem to be very covering. While it seem to impossible to find anything other than g-strings at stores here. (unless you're going to buy boring one-colored panties like white or black)

There's no naked live people in bibles, as for bare tits or genitals. Or overly sexually poses. Myself I'm happy about it.

I think they're pretty G-rated, and they certainly don't contain anything more revealing than in a normal magazine or clothes ad. Um, but you might not want to mention to your parents that some of the pretty girls are actually pretty boys in dresses, because it might freak them outO_o;; Mine still haven't got over the fact that Mana is a man...>_>;;

*laughs* It most certainly doesn't bother me, but I still sometimes can't get over it either. ^^;
