Candy Hearts Cosplay Picnic

The picnic will be held on Saturday, March 6th, 2004 at Kingwood College in Humble; the current time is going to be from 11 A.M. to 5 P.M. There will be a full outdoor stage, PA system (two mics - wireless), full picnic tables, and a courtyard to take pictures in and the like. There is also an alternate location in case of inclement weather.

There are also arrangements to secure a construction site near the college for more "avant garde" or modern picture opportunities. So far, they are still lining up the photographers, but there will be at least two professional photographers at the event.

While some people feel that EGL does not fit in the category of cosplay, I know many people that only feel comfortable dressing up in the fashion for conventions or small gatherings as such. Yes, it is a cosplay event but I doubt they will be reluctant to letting lolitas attend. It would be great opportunity for our South Texas lolitas to get some photo opportunities. ^_~

And for those North Texas lolitas, there are talks of an EGL tea party & fashion show being planned for A-kon.
