I'm new to this community! A friend of mine introduced me to this, she showed me a few Gothic&Lolita Bibles at school. I was wondering if you can give any recommendations of places to shop or get patterns for clothes to a newbie like me? Thanks :)

Hey there! Well unfortunately there isn't much EGL in the US. I really started to get into it when I went to Japan last summer and that's really the only place you can actually buy things in stores. Few of those stores ship internationally. However, you can always check eBay auctions and there are a few scattered online stores for those Lolita in the US. I personally, like to sew, so I buy cheap base skirts and shirts from places like H&M and Forever 21 and add onto them. I also just make them myself from patterns. If you want links for specific stores let me know and I'll try to help =)

Sam!! *waves* I just joined too ^_^ I'll find a way to take you to the good goodwill's with Lolita stuff ^_^ and if that doesn't work you could try to commision my mom O.o not sure though she's busy with work....... but she's been in the sewing mood soooo you might could ^_^
