Feb. 21st, 2004 03:37 pmThis is my first attempt at what I consider a true EGL dress. Let me know what you think of it. I did lighten the picture so it would come out better. The outfit contains: A dress, Bloomers, Shawl thing, and a choker.

Normally I personally hate most black lace too, but the pattern of yours is really very pretty.
It'd be kickin rad in black cotton with white eyelet lace. ;)
I'd love to see it on! So promise to model it for us!

Date: 2004-02-22 02:19 am (UTC)But the pattern on the satin brings down the shininess a little, wich is good. I can't stop thinking this in dark blue velvet, but that's just me.

It's very pretty peice. And while satin does turn me off it's cute!

Date: 2004-02-22 09:26 am (UTC)I definitely think it's mistake to automatically say "satin is not lolita" because I think it CAN work (and really well) in some cases. Here's a picture of a girl I met at a concert, wearing a handmade satin dress. I thought it was absolutely gorgeous.

That girl is wearing satin??? Can't even tell...
