Just a proposal... would anyone be willing to participate in a gift/craft exchange? EGL of course.


If there is a good response to this, the rules and instructions will be as follows...

There will be an amount limit/goal set by the participating partners. It must be agreed upon
You can have wishlists, but don't ask for specifics! (Don't give URLs, etc) This is for fun! Be thankful for what you may be getting, and let it be a surprise

metamorphique did this for Xmas, and most members were happy with their results, although as is inevitable, there were a few deadbeats.

If we had one person who would recieve and distribute all the items as a sort of security against this, it might be nice, but it have to be a very coordinated and willing memember. Otherwise we're all just on the honor system.

But yes, if you formally decide to do this, I will e-mail you my specifications.

Sounds like a plan! ^^ I think we're currently at about 1 and a quarter canadian dollars to one american - so in the vicinity of 10-15 american should be fine for me (so up to about 20 canadian is good). But of course, I'm up for haggling when I have someone to trade with ^^

Likes/dislikes: Am very picky about my floral fabric but solid colors are always good. If you do use a floral I recommend roses as I love roses.
I prefer cluney lacy and things that feel soft (rough fabrics like wool bother me and tend to give me rashes so prefer soft cottons, silks, etc..) Love chokers and wrist bands.

Sizes: I'm a large for the most part being 5'9". Size 8m shoes. Measurements are 35-30-41.

Got a partner! My friend/sex partner/slave Gloria. She lives in New York, so yay! a new friend. xP She's mostly into gothy things... And she adores little things like leg warmers and socks and shiney things. Things that will amuse her because she's pretty ADD. lol.
She would like something not pink, or brown, or yellow, or green, or orange-- hell. Just something black and lacey.
Something to accentuate her pretty face and smile =)

I recommend accessories like leg warmers or socks or bracelets.. can't go wrong there.

hehehe, well I went by the local antique mall and found something or I should say some things. I hope Gloria likes Gothic Lolita because what I got her just begged me to give to a northern Loli. I also found a purse that I just adore and can not part with (sowwie Gloria ^_^;; ) The purse is a small black patent handbag with a white fishnet design in the center, to me it just screams Darkside of Hollywood. Will have to take a picture and find a way to post it. Anyhoo, was wondering where I should send the goodies when I'm all done. Now I must go balance my checkbook as I just got back from the fabric store (good thing I went gift shopping first ^_^;; )

I'd be interested in this, depending on when it is. Since I don't really own any EGL things or have places where it's easy to buy stuff, I'd probably want to sew something, but I'm way busy with school now. So if the deadline is in, say, 2 weeks, that's probably no good, whereas if it's in May or something (XD maybe a bit sonner than that. hee) I might have the time ^^; hope that made sense....

:) There's not really a deadline yet; I haven't bothered to set one knowing that some people are finishing up with exams and busy schoolwork and all of that. Just as soon as I get more people partnered up (and make sure no one else wants to do this) we'll start things rolling, but I don't think it will be within 2 weeks :) Maybe 3?
