Hi all ^_^ Today I managed to make myself two new headresses using some of my mom's old fabric supplies ~ a black and grey checked ribbon one, with two red roses on the side and two black buttons securing it under the chin, and a long white chord one with tassles on the ends and a collection of pink/white flowers on the side. I'm also thinking of adding some white netting to the latter, ala G&L Wedding Style ^^

I'm really pleased with them so far, but they're not completely finished yet (they're only held together with safety pins!), and I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips for finishing them.

Thanks!

Kazzii :~*X*~:

PS: I'll post pictures here as soon as I've got them ^^

*giggles like a mad schoolgirl* XD I'm really sorry, I know I'm not quite responding to anything you said, but when I first saw your entry with Miyavi's Pop is Dead, I squeaked and was like, "OMG!!" *grins* My sister has gotten me into him sorta recently and I LOVE him, he's so so so cute! I also love his song Boogie Woogie ^____^! *prances, throwing rose petals about*

Ive been making lots of headpieces latley myself. Do you have a sewing machine? If so does it have a lace stitch on it? If so use that for sewing any lace on, it makes a big difference. Id reccomend hand sewing on the flowers. As for ribbons, sew them on with a straight stitch, and try to keep them from fraying by getting some of that liquid anti-fray stuff (I need some!) or singing the ends (carefully!) with a lighter.
