Hello everyone! I'm new to this community as of about an hour ago. I just bought my first Gothic Lolita style dress off of ebay and am waiting for it to come in the mail so I can take pictures. While I'm waiting on that, can I ask you all a few questions?

1. Is there a good place on line to get gothic lolita (or just lolita) style dresses in plus size? (other than Torrid)

2. Does anyone have any idea where to find good patterns for gothic lolita style dresses? I've dabbled a bit in cosplay and would really like to make one.

1. Try eBay... sometimes you'll get lucky there, but it depends just what size you need. You might also want to try getting people to make you stuff.

2. There are two books: the Tezukuri Gothic & Lolita book, and the Gosu Rori book: both of which are pattern books. You can order them through http://www.jlist.com

I've been using Simplicities French maid pattern, also their santa/stewardess pattern, also the fairy dress pattern is great for sleeves on dresses, I've also been using some button up shirt patterns and adding lace or ruffles. I haven't posted any pictures lately, I need to get someone to do that for me because I'm about five dresses behind.
