I don't know about many around here, but I am very very shy, quiet, and at many times overly polite. However, when i'm dressed in clothes that I think are beautiful and represent me, I don't care as much what other people think. After reading the article, it would seem that I am the Gothic Lolita stereotype (minus the parent problems, because I have wonderful loving parents), but I definitely became interested in Gothic Lolita because I wasn't happy with my life revolving around school and fitting in with everyone else. I wanted an escape from normalcy and I found it through beautiful clothes and living. Go Go Lolita-Chan!
