headdresses

This might be a bit of a stupid question, but I've been wanting to make a headdress (or some...) and I don't really know how to start. Most troubling is how to fasten it to your head. I've done a bit of an online search, without any usefull results.

Oh yeah, I'm new ^_^ If you'd like to know anything more about me (being a goth I believe, ofcours, no one will) you can have a look at my website ( www.auriane.be ) I know, I don't look all that much lolita, but I've only recently found out about it.

Well, that's an easy question^^;; You tie it onto your head with a ribbon! Although you can just bobby-pin it onto your head if you don't want to tie it on. I think you'll find that 99% of headdresses have ribbons on them, though^^;;

You might look into finding some kind of pretty elastic ribbon. Measure it to fit comfortably on your head when stretched, and sew it onto the headdress. That will ensure that it stays on your head. I can hand upside-down in a ladder while wearing my headdress because of that trick.

I just use ribbon and tie it behind my hair, it stays on pretty well, surprisingly.
