Photos Needed

Hi folks,

The next issue of Asleep By Dawn magazine will feature a story on Gothic Lolita fashion. Rather than ask our friends in Japan for photos, we thought it would be more interesting to print photos of Americans in clothes they've actually worn out and about. If you have well-taken, hi-res photos of yourself (or your friends) in Gothic Lolita style clothing and would like to submit them for publication, please send us a link to a page where we can view your pics (lo-res is fine for looking at). Please DO NOT send us pics by email! Send your link details to info@asleepbydawn.com and we'll be in touch if you have photos we can use.

Heya, when do you need the pics by & are you interested in any from UK'ers or just people in the US? Oh & cool looking magazine too...

We'd need pics in hand by the end of February; sooner is always better. As to pics from the UK, we're up in the air about it. A common response to EGL photos we've heard is "okay, it looks fine on cute little Japanese girls in Tokyo but I don't think it'll look good on me in Denver." This is one of the reasons we're looking specifically for photos of Americans in gear they've actually worn out in America.

Still, if you've got killer photos, send a link along anyway. Perhaps we'll have a shortage of good shots from the US...

I really like your outfit! I personally like the all-black look for gothic lolita outfits ^-^ Did you make it yourself or purchase it?
