Heya Kitties,

I was wondering if anyone had or could make me a Black & White Polkadot Headress for not too expensive (I'm in the UK BTW but I doubt sending a headress cost much/Usually around $2.50 to $8 depending on how elaborate & heavy it is!), I need one to match a dress I will be getting soon & that is being altered at the moment... I'm just looking for one that has some kind of Polkadotted material as the main fabric (I really would like it to match the dress as best as possible!) but I'm not too fussy about the rest! (I.E lace, Bows, Roses Ect...) Also I was wondering if anyone could make me some sock garters in Black/White & how much that would cost, an EGL outfit just doesn't look right without these, right?

Let me know if you can help...
*HUGS*

I'd be happy to do it, but I'm in the US... The shipping charges might be exorbitant...

Really? Wow, how great. I don't have any pictures of my work yet, since I don't have a digital camera. I could scan one of my headdresses, though... but it doesn't look very good. >_< I was in a hurry, and cut corners. I definitely wouldn't do that for yours, though. What does the skirt that you're coordinating with look like?

Oh, gladly. ^^ My scanner's being bad right now, but I should have it up in a few minutes. As for price, since I have all the materials but the fabric on hand, I could do it for about $5-$10 total, plus however much the shipping will be.

Done! It's at http://www.geocities.com/bella_skye/pictures/headdress.jpg

I did see the dress; it's very cute. ^^ A rectangular headdress will be nice and easy. Would you like to have the lace running down the middle, or confined to the edge, so that it shows off the polka dots? Also, about how wide is each dot on that fabric?

Yeah, as I said, it was a rush job. :\ For yours, I'll be a lot more careful when sewing the curves, add more seam allowance, and make it two layers +interfacing, instead of just one. And I'll use pre-ruffled lace... That was hand-pleated, so it's messy. :\

Aren't those roses fabulous? They're hand-crafted out of leather. I found them at Hobby Lobby, of all places. :D

Come to think of it, we should probably take this into private conversation... Contact me on AIM ( deathofriotgirl ), or email ( bella_skye at yahoo dot com ). ^^

A headdress would be anywhere from $4 to $10 depending on what kind of laces/ribbons/etc that you want on it, plus shipping. Bloomers would be about...$20 to $30 depending on lace again plus shipping.

I checked the USPS postage calculator and it says it'll cost about $9 for international priority mail (5-6 days shipping) It'd take me about a week at the longest to make them after payment. As for fabric, I'm going to the fabric store tomorrow so I'll see if I can find any matching fabric for the headdress. Do you know about how wide the polka dots are? or anything to compare their size to?

Sorry sweetie, I've had no luck in finding polka dot fabrics ;-; Why is it that they always have certain fabrics when you don't kneed them and they don't have them when you do need them, argh
