I’m new to this lovely community. I’ve been lurking off and on for quite a while so I finally decided to join.
I’m not an EGL, in fact I’m actually 21-years-old and a bit tomboyish. But for Christmas my grandma bought me some girly clothes (she loves seeing me look feminine). She bought me a burgundy corset style dress and a black pleated skirt. I wore the skirt last week with a pair of extra thick black tights, my black Demonia baby doll shoes, and beaded bracelets made with cute little skulls and shiny black crystal looking beads, but then I screwed up the look by wearing a wife-beater under shirt and a big baggy dark gray hoodie.
The reason I joined this community is because I’ve always been interested in gothic fashion, and EGL is simply gorgeous. I’m an artist. I sketch, draw, and paint. Sometimes I throw a little EGL flair into my work, so if I could ever stop being so lazy and scan some of my drawings I’d love to post them here. Oh, and I’m also a fan of Malice Mizer and the manga Under the Glass Moon (the story is a little off, but the art is amazing).

Aww, your outfit sounds like the stuff i wear as well! Hehe - I'm trying to grow out of my tomboy stage, and taken it to the other extreme by going EGL ;)

I'm 21 too and I love to draw. It's fun to sketch out your own EGL outfits. I usually wear really casual clothes a lot too. I'm always in a pair of jeans and a T-shirt. But most of the time I dress up for work.
