Hello everyone!
I'm sure some of you have seen me replying, but I've never posted here before. I am new to livejournal, but have been watching this community for awhile now.

I'm not sure how many of you remember, but awhile ago there was talk about a Gothic & Lolita anime called Le Portrait de Petit Cossette. Well, the promo is out! It looks in-cre-di-ble! The music is by Yuki Kajiura (she composed for Noir and .hack//sign) and is especially lovely and haunting. The animation is beautiful. In the promo, there is even 'Gothic & Lolita' scrawled on the wall in what looks like... blood! I'm looking forward to seeing the series when it comes out this spring!

the screen shots looks beautiful, but i was unable to get the video playing. i went to the FAQ on the site, but it was down. Do you know off-hand what I need to get in order to see the video?

I loaded the prewiev too, but only could play the soundtrack, no picture appeared. I tried several programs to play it. Which should I use? I'm very thankful for any advice!

You probably don't have the latest codec... You'll probably have to download xvid for it to play.

so far as a preview i think they have done a good job concealing the plot line. there are speculations to plot - but i think they leave an open end.

also - i was quite surprized that Yuki Kajiura is the person in charge of the soundtrack and i think that it will be the right choice. she has this quality in her compositions i think will be able to compliment this kind of anime. there's something in her work that always seems to have a feeling of comfort and discomfort at the same time.
