EGL site

I was thinking about creating an EGL community site (not on LJ), where people could post their pictures of their costumes. But I am not sure if this will be used by people. Are people willing to post pictures of themselves or only their customes? I am not sure >_

If there's a community for posting egl auctions and a community for posting egl pictures, then what is this community supposed to be for? People don't post enough pictures in here, and so I'm not sure they'd post enough in another community to make it worthwhile...

I reread your post a little more carefully, and I think that's a great idea.
I think people would use the site if you provided the webspace.
I think the main reason people don't post pictures too much is that they have no webspace in which to put said pictures.
It would be nice also to have a site that showed American girls into egl. It might better encourage people who really want to dress egl but don't know where to start. ^___^

I was thinking of an userbased system, in which people could show of their costumes. I don't mean a messageboard just like LJ. Ofcourse you can leave comments though. A weekly 'favorite user' or monthly 'favorite user' could be picked by the moderators if anyone likes that idea. I hope to promote people to take pictures of them in their costumes, something that doesn't really happen here alot >_

I think people would be less reluctant to post pictures of their costumes and neat-o outfits if they're less afraid of being critisized so heavily. I always feel so sorry for people when it's obvious that they worked hard on their costumes but just didn't get it quite right and a ton of people tear them down instead of making constructive critisism, ya know?

If you make it i'll try to send pic of me.. but it don't take pics of me really often ^^;;; (so it'll probably be pic of me drunk at some party and all you'll see will be a petticoat en bloomers and many legs and arms... ^^;;; )
