Much to my dismay, I too will never be a petite japanese girl, but that does not mean I can't look damn cute! I have found that if you have a good look around and find or draw sketches of designs you want, you can generally find an imaginative and fabulous dress maker to help you out.Owners of goth shops who design and make their own patterns and clothing (like Batty for instance!)are generally more willing to help you.I am in Australia and as far as I know there is only a small few who even know about the EGL style, I have not seen anyone else in my little city, but then again, this IS Brisbane.

I'd just like to offer my services if I may. I run a retail clothing store ( www.eyespyeclectics.com ) and I have done quite a number of requests for people in search of the gothic/lolita style. Over the last 6 months I have added quite a few lolita insiperd garments to my original collection. I've been full time sewing now for about 3 years and I like to think that I have perfected my craft. I am always willing to help someone out with a design they might have in mind, and I don't charge a fortune like some other custom clothing stores. If you don't see something you like in my store, you can always email an illustration or photo of something you would like done and I can give you a quote. :)
