Hi there cuties!
So... I got a copy of the Handmade Gothic and Lolita Mook for Christmas (The blue one).
Then I got two more. Lucky me, right? So now I have three of them.
As you can imagine, I don't need three, so I will be selling two of them.
The two I'm selling are brand new and still in their packaging.
I was going to sell them on ebay, but I thought I'd ask here first and see if anybody wanted to buy them. It will be $15.00 a piece plus $4.00 shipping within the U.S. I'll ship elsewhere if you'd like, but you'll have to tell me where so I can give you the shipping cost.
I must say, this mook is excellent.
It's one of the best sewing references I've ever seen.
It is a wonderfully detailed reference for a beginning seamstress if you can read Japanese. If you can't read japanese, or only a little like me, then this mook is still an excellent reference for an intermediate seamstress.
It is my impression from looking at the directions and reading what I can that there is a 1.5cm seam allowance included on the pattern pieces. I could be wrong about that though. Also, the patterns are all made for S-M-L... so you can make a custom fit for yourself. It's also really nice that each piece of clothing has the finished garment measurements for each size so that you can tell before making it if it will fit you or not. There are excellent pictures and detailed instructions. There are also all kinds of little side projects like making lacey knee-socks and headpieces and the like. You really can't go wrong with this mook. It's really worth every penny.
So email me at kats@supert3ch.com if you're interested in a copy of the mook or leave a comment.
