Hey again everybody. New question, anyone know where I can find good white fishnets, in a real store(not online) I've tried Fredericks of Hollywood (they only carry them during Halloween) and Hot Topic, and Victoria's Secret. None of them had any. I really need them for my costume/outfit though. I thought of just bleaching some fishnets but I think that would damage the material of them too much, or could end up splochy. Any advice? (sorry x-posted all over the place.)

Honestly..Ive always gotten mine at the porn store. Leg Avenue has all sorts of colored fishnets.

Nordstroms if you have them around, and they've got fishnets on sale (also check places like Bon-Macys and etc.). Otherwise adult stores (lovers package etc.) generally have them. You'll want to look at the cheesy suburban kind of store though, the more specialized fetish stores generally won't have them.

Aside from the sex shops, if you live near a Ragstock (they're a smallish chin that sells new and used cothes), I've found they usually have (lowish quality) white fishnets, as well as black and red. Though they're not top qulity, the black ones I have are definitey wearable. *shrug*

I recently saw some white fishnet knee highs (I think) at walmart. I can't remember what brand they were, but I know they aren't Brown Sugar, which was previously the only brand of fishnets I've seen at walmart. They also seemed to be decent/good quality. ^^

I've seen the Leg Avenue brand sold in thrift stores that cater to the gothic or alternative crowd, you might want to try secondhand shops too.

Playmates is a good store for those--they have just about every color of fishnets. And the stripper stores always have them. =)

try a store like wetseal or the rave.. they have a ton of awesome stuff... and i know level 10 sells leg avenue stuff for cheaper than it is from the leg avenue store itself.. I got 2 pairs of thigh highs for 10 dollars

I don't know where abouts you're located....I'm in Canada, and there's a store here called Le Chateau....I don't know if it's a Canadian store, but they have every colour fishnet you could possible think of.

Bleaching

I bleached mine and they didnt come out very well, more like pale prey with splotches :D. Best to buy some. I have to order mine off the net or go into London for some from the Blackrose shop.

I've bought some of the rather high end ones from Macy's before. They wear well. I think I wore them probably ten or fifteen times. They're more expensive but they'll last a lot longer and they're softer than cheaper stores too.
