I was watching TV just now and I stopped on MTV because I saw a music video with Scarlett Johansson in it. Scarlett Johanssen in very EGL-esque clothing.

It was the Truman video for 'Girl with a Pearl Earing' Based on the movie (based on the book) coming out soon. You can see the video on the site.

I don't know about any music video, but I watchd the trailer and didn't see anything in particular that struck me as EGL.
Still, I must thank you greatly for showing me previews of what looks like a very beautiful movie. I think as an artist and lover of things having to do with the heart in many forms, I'll enjoy it very much.

=/ I don't really like the style of the blouse she's in for soem reason. Then again, it was very hard to make out in the video's camera angles. It just seems...odd to me.

I would never have put the blouse and skirt together either. I didn't think they went together at all. To each their own, however.

No offense but i saw the video and i saw more of hippy chic/wannabe victorean thing not really anything egl in my oppinion...... but hey thats just me, besides ive seen far worse be called "egl"

I didn't mean anything about it being 'pure EGL' or whatnot. Just, you could see the influence and perhaps this is another sign that EGL is starting to catch on in American mainstream. Just hopefully, it won't get too perverted.
