I have long wavy hair and no bangs. Does anyone know what I can do with my hair that is at least somewhat EGL? Besides getting a wig, fake hair, or getting it cut, that is.

Offhand, I'd say put it in bunches and use a heated curling thingy to make 'em all ringletty. When bunching, try and sweep a bit across your forehead so you don't get a giant expanse of skin (well, I have a giant expanse of skin, stupid big forehead o' mine XD) too.

But it's half one and I'm not thinking straight so go with any other answers before mine. ;)

The only reason there are so many bangs in EGL is because bangs suit a flatter profile. Which the magority of asain Do have.
Or they have a receeding forehead that can be disguised with bangs.
it's not an egl thing really. The straight across bangs are simply asociated with childhood and only the very young wear Those.
Adults tend to use bangs that frame the face better.
I say just leave your hair as is. Maybe use a side part if you want a softer look with some of the hair directed across the forehead.

If you want ringlets (which I love) I'd suggest investing in a good salon style curling iorn.
They can curl anything. Trust me, as I am an almost hairstylist (i get my liscense in June, whoo!)
Just make sure you put hairspray in the ringlet-to-be and curl it tightly before it dries. Try not to wrap the hair around its self on the iron, if you do the outside won't get hot and it won't curl properly.

If you have a good curling iorn it should smoke, don't worry that's just the hairspray drying.

You can have ringlets in pigtails, or just leave them down. Both are very cute.
