Since we're "made in the image of God", and yet all 6 billion of us people are all so very different, no two completely alike. So I think that each of us reflects some aspects of God's huge personality - like every positive human emotion and attribute God has, and we all inherited different stuff from him. Like parents, we inherit their genes, but we're unique individuals. So I think that all the best things about me, my art etc, all the things that make me me, are my God-genes. So in being closer to Jesus and more like him, I'm becoming more like myself everyday ^_^

Date: 2003-11-15 08:04 pm (UTC)I think you probably couldnt find the connection with "god" because you couldnt find the connection with yourself. And once you do find yourself, i think one becomes independant enough to not rely on a god. God does not play around... it's you. you make your own little choices. And that voice saying what you should and shouldnt do is NOT the righteousness of "god"...it's actually your conscience.
But hey... if it makes you better to feel that it is "god" then...ewlcome. whatever floats your cookie.. human has at least been able to cater for everyone's individualality i'm surprised it all works.
And i dont beleive "god" made anyone. If anything, i think someone made up god. So that people who needed control would be under this atmospheric power of "god"
And no i am not against god. nor am i for him. I'm neutral because i'm allowed to be. I made a bet- that if he was really anywhere, he would be able to answer 3 of my questions, in person- wihtout me asking. And that could even be a "messenger", and even then, i'll control me.
oh and to answer that question. I'm like a best friend to myself. soemtimes we fight...sometimes we betray... but we are always honest and we can tell when one of us is lying.
In the end, we always find each other and loyality always manages to seep back through.
I think everyone has a connection with themselves... some just dont believe it :D
