I recently made a couple of frilly little headdress thingies, I don't have bangs, and I haven't since I was little (don't think I want them again, I hated them back then so that traumtized me lol, plus they make my face look too square...). I was just wondering, does anyone wear the headpeices without bangs? Because I just don't think I recall seeing any pictures or anything where a headdress is warn without bangs. I'm sure I have, but I just can't think of it. Well anyways, my point. I just want to know personal opinions. Do you think that the headdress look odd without bangs? Have you even seen them worn without bangs?

VOL 3 Girl in the snap shots section has no bangs. Or well Shorter hair and bangs growing out. She looks fine.
Same volume. Baby sewing section. On how to make the bunny and pinafore aprn thingy.
VOL 4 h.naoto add. No bangs. Still hair framing the face slightly. Not pulled back.
Aetlier-Pierrot page. Same volume. No bangs but again framing the face.
The comic in that one too. The sick girl has No bangs but volume and lots around the face.
H.Naoto blood add. Near the back. No bangs!
Vol2 Snap shots again! This time with a bonnet! and face framing.
Another girl had a large bow and it pulls away from the face but allows her hair to float about and it doesn't look too stark. Also good.

Aaand that's all I got. The thing is bangs are used because A they look younger with thick straight across bangs. B it's used to frame and soften the face in the cause of wispy bangs or in a layered cut and C people with one length hair often don't know how to use it to look cute/soft/feme. Soften it up with some curls! Or if already curly widen the curls with conditioner for frizz and a curling iron. Wee barrel curls and ringlets! As long as you frame the face and soften your features your A-okay!
Something Everyone could take to hear all the time. ^__^;;

I don't have bangs, but I've found ways of wearing a headdress that work. Check out my gallery for ideas: http://kubrick.cdes.qut.edu.au/~n4410203/photos.htm

i wear haedresses and i don't have bangs. as much as i would like to have them, i think bangs are too much of a hassle to deal with. ^^; while most egls do have them, i really don't think they're a requirement. besides, not all people look good with bangs (myself included)!! there are alternatives, like sweeping the hair to one side or parting it in the middle and framing your face, etc....

I odn't have bangs either. When I had it the last itme my head looked like an soccerball...not so very nice.
I ahve lsot weight since then but I'm not sure I will look good in bang anyway.

As others already said, you can always use false bangs.
I just part my hair in the middle and let some of it frame my face.
If I wear updos I always leave some hair down around my face to make the hair do look softer.

ive hand bangs forever. but sometimes i dont what them so i brush them nice and pn them to the side, which makes it looks like bangs. so if you do or dont have bangs , it'll look like you do. pretty much what Xelyna did in the picture link she posted, i think it looks so cute!
