egl outfit
Oct. 9th, 2003 09:51 pmSo I'm in the process of whipping together a little egl outfit to wear to the las vegas comic con this halloween. So I atempted to draw some pictures of it...
the whole outfit

the shirt

the choker

the skirt

and the head piece

***Oh and keep in mind that everything that is blue in those pictures would really be black...
So my first question is should the outfit be in black with a white petticoat with white lace and white ribbon or should it be in black with a light blue petticoat, lace and ribbon?
Second question: knee highs, mary janes, head piece, top, big poofy shirt, petticoat, choker...am I missing anything?
And finially, Do you think it would look cuter/better to have the petticoat intentially sticking out a bit at the bottom or shoudl the skirt definitly completely cover it?
Thanks for your input :)

Date: 2003-10-09 11:18 pm (UTC)I live in Las Vegas, I'm also going to the con and my friend and I are dressing EGL as well.(except my dress is pink red and white so there's not much of the "g" in that outfit.) We should get together and take pictures. ^^
I like the idea of black and light blue since it's more unique. and I thinkthe petticoat showing a bit really depends on the petticoat.

Date: 2003-10-10 06:28 pm (UTC)I'll be a pink red and white lolita with matching hair made out of yarn at the ball(and at the con that day) and on Saturday my hair will be made out of VHS tape and 35mm film and I'll just be dressed normally (for me).
If you see me, say hello!

Date: 2003-10-10 03:01 pm (UTC)As for black/light blue.. Well I've never seen that combination but it might be cute! Only thing is it's really hard to find blue lace, and even 100% cotton lace if you wanted to dye it.
Be sure to post pics when it's finished!
