What's the difference between elegant gothic lolita and elegant gothic aristocrat?

Not a stupid question at all...

Elegant Gothic Lolita (EGL) evokes a mixture of gothic styles combined with a very youthful/doll-like sensibility. It usually incorporates monocolors (black/white), knee-length poofy skirts, lace/ribbons and platform mary janes.

Elegant Gothic Aristocrat (EGA) a more masculine style, a more serious style, with longer skirts or wide-legged trousers, button-down dress shirts or jackets/vests. It tends to use more historical Victorian fashion accesories and styles.

That's sort of the basics. Maybe someone else can define it more?

Pardon the blunt description but as far as I can tell:

Elegant Gothic Lolitas are trying to look like refined little girls.

Elegant Gothic Aristocrats are trying to look like refined adults.

More girls are into EGL (although there are guys like me), but it is acceptable for either gender to dress in either style (within the communities at least).
