Where do you find the sizing info? I like some of the stuff but I do not know if I am a s or xs.

I don't have any EGL clothing right now and I've been thinking of buying from him. ^_^; It's pretty expensive but not expensive as most. My only problem is, I have no clue what size I am. ^^;; All I know is that I'm about 5'6" lol.

[livejournal.com profile] calistrisa and few other people posted reviews in the community. I think if you cycle back a few pages, you should find some well-written honest reviews of his items. :)

At least someone recognizes that not all of us are tiny...I hate going shopping and not finding anything to wear because designers think if you are over a size 8 you do not want to look good...

That's so true! I mean, even if I lost a ton of weight, my bone structure just isn't that small. I'm always going to be in the large range, and I wish these stupid clothing companies could realize that. I can understand that a Japanese company wouldn't make plus sized things because there aren't many girls in Japan who are a plus size (lucky =P), but a clothing company that is catering to Americans really needs to because a lot of us are overweight and need it, sadly ^_^;; Damn those yummy unhealthy foods! ;_;

Actually, Japan does have alot of overweight girls. They just tend to not be in the main tourist places like Tokyo. And they may have japanese plus size, but the problem is that their plus sizes are usually still really tiny. x____x;

Really? Wow, I didn't know that :) All I'd read about Japanese fasion and sizing said otherwise @_@ But, it makes sense. But yeah, even the plus sizes here are tiny... I mean, I was trying on three pairs of pants - two size 15's and a 13, and I'm supposed to be a 13. The two pairs that were 15's didn't fit, and the 13 was too big o_O Sizing is so weird!!

Yea.. There really needs to be one single sizing chart for the whole country, unless they're custom made.. x_x

It's not even about being overweight. Notice how women are taller now? Society is moving towards the larger end of the scale, but designers still see their ideal as a size 2...Idiots

I haven't had too much problem with the height thing, cuz I'm kinda on the short-medium side of that ^^* But you're right, people are getting a lot taller.

Getting taller, but not fast enough. I'm over six feet, and I want fabulous stuff NOW!

i like that. "modest miss goes misfit"

the charge depends on the project.

which are you referring to?

well, as i posted earlier -- the dress has alot of gathering and lace. however, you can choose white or black lace....as well as the color you want.

i'll do it for $115 plus shipping. if i send it priority - i might be able to get away with around $5 for shipping. although if i ship it fedex or ups..the cost will be higher. I also found out recently the further away a given address is from myself, the more postage (priority) is going to cost.

i recently sent out two packages. one was going near by -- the other was going to cali. both weighed the same. the one going near by cost $5.60. the one going to Cali? nearly $11!!

Yea, it's a bit too big for me too.. But i figure, a bit too big is better than too small? lol.

Wah, it would fit me... AND I have some money saved up...

But I personally think it's a little... um... *lowers voice* icky...

I wish the front pieces sloped off, instead of going straight down!

*giggles* It is pretty! Just not to wear-for-me. (Like peter pan collars... I can't wear them for some reason...)

*giggles more* Just watch though, if the accents were PINK, I'd be bidding... ;9
