*hmm I just realized that you can't see the lil comments I made on them so I guess I'll just type them out...

a scan fromt he 7th gothic lolita bible "a perfectly cute picture, untill you see the evil bunny"
title or description

another scan from glb this time from the 8th issue "okay so only one of the bunnies are really evil looking, but STILL"
title or description

and this was spoted in a random online store I stumbled on today
title or description

This post was not made in seriousness and if it's not okay for me to post such things here I'll delete it :)

Don't do it! ...Um... *cough* I meeean, bunnies make wonderful pets in tidy, adult homes. In all honesty, I love my rabbits but sometimes I think they're little terrors expressly because they know they're cute enough to get away with it. Don't get one if you're a really untidy person (I sort of am, but learned quickly to stash messes on top of dressers and in closed closets) but they are fun and a somewhat unusual pet. If you decide to get one, adopt from your local HRS (House Rabbit Society) they're all homeless bunnies and it's cheaper than going to a pet store. Ellen I adopted from a guy so she was free, but Peter cost $55. You can get a rabbit from a petstore for about $20, but spay or neuter (necessary for males to prevent that awful, awful unneutered male stench, spraying, and agression and necessary for females to prevent the 80%+ chance of uterine cancer in unbred females) is really expensive -- between $70 for a neuter and $150 (or more) for a spay. (Some HRS rabbits are less than $55, too, depending on the shelter. They're all spayed or neutered, though.) Altered rabbits also house break really easily, which makes the surgery worth it disregarding all the other reasons to do it ^^;

Sooo... if you're patient and can be understanding about shredded magazines or a bunch of tiny holes in your duvet (that's all mine go for -- they don't bother the moulding or the walls or the furniture, but jeans (which are always safely stashed in the dresser) and my blanket (which is at their mercy on my bed) suffer their furry little wrath) rabbits can make great pets ^^;

oh yes i would most definitely not buy a bunny from a pet store... it would have to be a shelter. thanks for the tips about spaying & stuff, i didn't know about that...

best wishes to your fluffy ones ;D

My sentiments exactly...the girl knows what she's talking about!

I spayed three and neutered two and now can't afford to buy curls for my loli hair! But I love 'em anyway! (^^)

Do yours live outside of the cage? I LOVE the idea of a bunny that lives just freely in the house, and is litterbox trained and can come greet you at the door when you get home. But unfortunately I am toxically allergic. :(

I would die to have this one:

*L* that's too bad! They certainly are little dander bombs, especially during molting times. Mine aren't free-range because I have roommates (they will be once I'm living on my own) so we built them a condo and I give Ellen free range of the basement and my room (my room is off the basement) when I'm home. Pete & Ellen used to be bonded but they had a fight so Peter lives upstairs at the moment in my bf's room. When I get a chance I'm going to work harder at rebonding them.

...And that dwarf rabbit is quite possibly the cutest thing in the entire world! He's a dwarf, though, which means he's Neurotic-with-a-capital-N. (They're the cutest rabbits, but the biggest terrors >.>;)

I had two dwarf rabbits to take care of for a little while (long story really) and yeah, they were TERRRRORRRRS. Scary really. Adorable as heck but scary. My roommates were supposed to help take care of them but I did ALL the work, even though it meant that I couldn't breathe and was itchy as heck after I did all I had to do.

Oooo tell them to go to the post office for me coz I need to send a money order out.

In the lower rightmost picture, I can't tell which end is the head or tail on that bunny. Hehe. What is it *doing*?

I know >_< They're so cute, but in my personal opinion they don't make the best pets. The larger the rabbit, the better the personality. Mine are middle-sized, and that's about all I can handle ^^:;

...And that sucks about your roommate. That's really irresponsible of her, especially since you're so allergic >_

Yay for evil rabbits! They have been a thing with me for ages.... here are some recent ones.... http://members.aol.com/angelspoon/new.html

I recently designed a plush creepy rabbit too, but my sewing machine is on the fritz so I haven't posted them to my site.

I would sooo love to get one of the creepy rabbits in those pics you posted!

Why thank you! It's true... I am rabbit-crazed. I designed some vinyl toys for Toy2R that are creepy-bunnies, too. I am very happy about them, but I have no idea when they will be released.

Ahhhhhh those are adorable, especially since they have little themes like the strawberry basket and the nurse. You made those completely from scratch? With a pattern or just winging it?

There's a pattern to make a bunny in one of the Bibles too.

Funny thing is I've had a decapitated rabbit's head for ages now. Not a real rabbit, I should point out - A cuddly plush one. It was a pyjama case made of lightweight material with a furry head & paws attatched. I was going to convert into a rucksack, but I gave up as it would have taken a lot of work - opening the seams on the sides & resewing to make it narrower (as it was kinda square shaped) & attatching straps. I gave up & just cut the head off. I plan t sew some red material to the bottom of the head & some 'vertebrae' so it looks like I've just ripped it's head off. Think I might get round to that & make that part of my halloween costume. I'll take photos if I do.
