BTSSB has been shipping overseas for a while o.o
Anyway, do be careful. Consumption tax can double the price of things it seems. >>;; ($14 socks jumped to $30 with tax, not to mention shipping! x.x And then since they don't accept credit cards you must do it by bank transfer, which cost another $10+ eek)

I would assume so, as Crescent has to charge all of those fees plus their percentage cut. I think there's a special tax on all good shipped outside of Japan, which would add significantly to the cost. *sigh* If only I were a bit skinnier, I'd go for it, though. It costs about $200 to really reproduce a BtSSB dress because lace is so expensive, so if I'm going to blow that much and spend all that time making it, I might as well spring the extra and get the manufactured deal. Ah, if only Japanese girls were chubbier ^^;;;

There actually are chubby Japanese girls in the Lolita scene, because they can't really do anything else... I don't know where they get their clothes, though. >_<;; Bet they're custom made/fit.

Although I qualify as chubby, my BTSSB shirt (featured on that site- go into the "Cut Saw" section and click on the one with the round lacy collar and the asymmetrical detail going up the right side) fits just fine. Their clothing is actually quite adjustable.

I just wish they had gotten an English editor for that page. "Cut Saw" is a bit far from "Cut and Sewn" (katakana "kattoso-"). o_O;; And the clothing descriptions are all in Japanese, too, which isn't a problem for me but might irk other people.

yes, i just got a new paycheck this week, and im deciding if i should bid on something off rinkya or get something from BtSSB. i wish i could get something from metamorphose, but all their skirts except for the petticoats are 24 inch waist. and most baby's, at least the ones i want to order can stretch to 27 so its sawesome.

Did you look at the stuff cosmates_japan sells on ebay tho? It is Japanese clothing, but I did notice larger sized stuff. I think there were even a few plus sized items (although it might be a different idea of plus size - I don't know). He measures stuff pretty thoroughly as well.

Heh. I have the opposite problem. I am standard Japanese sizing, so I find it hard to find stuff to fit me in Western made lolli clothing & Japanese clothing of course is hard to get hold of, so this is music to my ears.
