I made this from a size 18 (UK sizes) or 20 (USA sizes) T-shirt, which I loved the pattern on and had to use!!
Not sure if it's so much gothic lolita, but I thought you might like it :) Something I made from a huge T-shirt.
I took inspiration from chinese/japanese clothing and also the constrast 60's clothing with giant buttons that's popular over here at the mo! :-)
here's how it ended up. Apologies for the bad photos! It was hard to do!!

Very creative! What sort of changes did you make to it? I think it has the potential to be sorta EGLish if you did a Chinese-themed outfit, but it's very nice on it's own, too.

well, it was a size 18 (Uk) 20 (Usa) sizes T-shirt, and I'm size 10 heheh so, I had to take it in a bit.
Then I sewed the black lacey/ribbon stuff on the splits at the sides, and arms and down the side, and the buttons on.
Also, I had to re-shape the arms.
Marc jacobs eh?:) Compliment hehe *is an aspiring designer!*
I don't like pink!!! I just love this pattern and pink and black together :)!

the shirt is loverly, but I think the necklace doesn't work with it. A chocker with those beads would be sweet, though.

Very cute, though. I love the print and the cut. You turned that t-shirt into a fabulous dress! It would look cute with a matching choker. ^-^ In the pix, you look very 1940s/mod. =D Awesome.
