Saw this as I was continuing to catch up on most recent strips. Thought you guys might enjoy it ^_~ I think of you often when I see things, but usually keep to myself, as I'm not as cool and don't have money to dress and show off in EGL yet, so..
*shuffles feet and looks down*...

Anyhoo, this is only one of a few instances I've noticed EGL in Megatokyo.. well.. -I- thought it was cool anyway.. ^^;;

Don't be embarrassed about not being able to afford/make/pose in EGL for us. As my good friend Kotori once said, "Gothic Lolita is a mindset, not just a wardrobe." Dig up your self esteem and be proud that you're even into such a cool subculture, dammit! ^_~

Hmm, indeed you're right. I just wish I could be as cool as you guys, I'd so dress up in EGL for everyday type wear just to see the reactions I get. *grin* It'd be fun, and I guess I'm just a sucker/guru for attention.
And, seeing as I'm in such a position currently, I'd like to post more often, but, I don't quite know what to share :\ Gyarr..

And yes it is ^-^, although I guess I was hardly surprised, seeing as Megatokyo's setting is in fact in Japan. Well.. maybe a little.. ;p

*squishes* I second what Callie said -- EGL is a way of life and a way of thinking! Be happy and proud of yourself! *squishsquishsquish, pours tea*

And hey, I can't speak for everyone, but I doubt most of us dress up allllllll the time. (When I'm at school tired + working, I generally tend to throw on plain black dresses and big stompy boots and tie my hair back.) I dress up when I go out to have fun, but working clothes have to be functional, right? ^-^ And EGL is pretty expensive, even making your clothes.

Don't fret! A girl can be EGL even when she's prancing around in her room without any clothes on! Just be cute and happy! *hearts*

*giggles* Silly Seraphim... waaah, I need to catch up on strips. ... it'll never happen... @_@
