hi, just wanted to post a pict with my new petticoat from Munich on which would have traditionally been worn under a Bavarian dirndl. Folk costumes are so much fun!

Sorry bout that, I'm really not all that savvy with posting things and when I have tried to post using the lj specific tags my photos show up broken. I will try though and use the one you provided next time.

Thanks doll, nice icon! They are readily available in Munich where I have spied several vintage dirndl shops which have loads of pettis. On top of it, I am wearing a 1960's tulle and rick-rack apron I found at an antique shop-in the States. I'm starting an apron collection--but get a lot of funny looks when I go out in'em :) Nothing new.
