Issue w. AP-bag

Recently I bought a new bag second hand, but it was unused. However yesterday the little metalhoop to connect the strap to the bag, felt of the bag. It was first time I did use the bag!
I heard that brand garment need special care, but this is ridiculous.
The little piece of metal was never attached correctly to bag from the start.
