Hi folks! Just popping in to remind you that if you are interested in submitting your lolita-themed artwork for the September banner contest, it has to be received by midnight, the evening of August 25th. Please keep in mind also that it must be on a white or transparent background. Full details on how to enter are in this post.

I just started a new group on Fitocracy for Lolitas called Fit for Frills, and I thought some of you might be interested. This site has a points and leveling system, so you can make a game of excercise. The group is there to help motivate one another to stay in shape and become strong. We also have a tumblr blog for excercise and snacking advice, and inspiration posts.

Does your passion for fitness match your love of Lolita fashion?
Do you have a little bit of excess weight you want to shed to look even better in that new Innocent World dress?
Want to stay in shape for that special coord you have planned for Winter Lolita Day?
Do you feel a little bad about having all that cake at the last tea party you attended?
Or are you just fucking sick and tired of taking shit from weirdos with cameras? (Disclaimer: Fit for Frills accepts no legal responsibility for you decking a creep, but we will cheer you on from the sidelines!)

No worries, comrade. We are here for you! Grab a dumbell and a strawberry protein shake. Mister Rococo be with you.

I took a quick look through the memories and tabs to find what I was looking for, but if I missed a similar already existing post, I apologize.

Okay, recently I decided to cut the bangs on my wig without really thinking about it, and cut them too short (there's a noticeable gap of skin between my eyebrows and bangs). It turned-out to be one of those things that I instantly regretted doing, and I'll be sure to take my time and make sure I know what I'm doing with any future wigs.

However, is there any way to save the currently existing wig, or should I just move on?

EDIT: Thanks so much for all the wonderful advice! I never really expected such a response! O.O It turns out that pulling the wig forward on my forehead was all the simple genius I needed, and I had a trusted friend even-out the bangs (should have had her trim them in the first place...).
