Hello everyone at EGL!

I posted here about a year ago with iPhone backgrounds, and now come bringing some more. This time it's a whole new batch of lolita iPhone 5 backgrounds that I would like to share with you all! While these were tailored with the iPhone 5 in mind, I'm sure they'll fit most phones.

Moreover, if you had requested in the old thread(s), you'll find your request done in this batch :) so I really hope you like!

So there was a thread just recently, that has since been deleted, wondering why indie brands were often priced so similarly to, and sometimes even more expensively than, actual brand items.

And that got me to thinking [apologies if this is not the sort of thing one should post to EGL, or if it's been discussed before] about what the lolita community at large wants from the makers of our clothing. Do you like brand because it it brand, or because it's great quality, or is brand-name irrelevant if you like the dress? Do you like indie brands because you can support a fellow lolita by wearing clothes from their brand, or because they are very limited in quantity, or because indies often explore different themes to the big brands? Do you like taobao shops because they're generally cheaper, or because some stores offer custom sizing, or because you can find little known stores that no-one else will be wearing?

Basically, I guess that I'm curious about what prompts people's purchasing habits in the lolita style. All those questions are more hypothetical that me actually wanting answers, I just wanted to start a discussion about why you buy what you buy.

But finally, one actual question that I would like people's thought on: Are indie brands likely to be better off by pricing their items high, or do you think they'd do more business if they found a way to cut production costs enough to bring sale prices down?
