I personally work in an electronic retailer and have done so for about two and a half years. It's not a great job but at least it's something better than unemployment. I've been thinking about what career path I can take for too long and I still haven't decided.

There is so many successuful and happy lolitas in this community, so please share:
What do you do for a living, and how happy are you doing it? Does Lolita come in to play in you work/work place at all? If you could do anything, what would you do? Would you change your job or career if Lolita is not appropriate or permited?

Who knows, maybe someone will give me an idea of a career I've never thought of. =]

I was going to the mall yesterday afternoon on Abercorn and I saw a girl dressed head to toe in pink coming out of Barnes and Noble, definitely a lolita.
Then when I was parking passed by her & her friend - you were in a red car!

Obviously I couldn't say hi since in cars and such and I didn't want to look crazy flapping my arms around when our respective cars passed - but your outfit looked real cute!
Wish there we had a more active Savannah community - admittedly I'm pretty busy a lot with work and school and my mind in other places though :( But I always love seeing lolitas around town!

Hi EGL! I just found this gorgeous green gobelin fabric from a second hand market and I really want to sew something from it. I've seen a few dresses that are made of gobelin, but I'd really hope to see some coordinations too! Show me all your inspirational pictures, huns!

(This is my first time posting in EGL, so I hope I'm doing everything right)

I might be going to Houston, Texas this Summer for half a year or so, but I´m not sure since I´m honestly kind of afraid of being lonely! I´ll be leaving both friends and close family behind here in Denmark, and being a lolita and therefore a "social outcast" makes it a bit more scary.

I was thinking if there is a lolita community in Houston I could check out, or somebody who would like to chat with me, so I could have some kind of social circle before flying to the US. I would stay in the Richmond area, I think it was.

I'm making a comic about lolita for school and theres a picture I want to use for reference but I can't find it. It's of a sweet lolita walking down a street alone at night or at a time when it is getting dark. I don't know if that is descriptive enough but that's what I remember. Sorry if this was the wrong place to post this. I don't know any better this is my first topic posted here.

(Just a heads up, I'm very new to the comunity so I hope this is tagged correctly and all)

Anyway, I'm new to the lolita community but I'm having a birthday next month (On the 6th) and I as thinking about throwing a tea party, many of my friends aren't lolitas, and the ones I do know don't live near me... ^^;. But anyway, sorry thats besides the point.

This may not be the right place to ask, but for you ladies and gentlemen who have hosted tea parties as meetups/otherwise, could you please give me a few tips on being a good hostess?Or, well, more like do you have any tips on hosting a good tea party in general? Thank you for your time, this will be my first meetup so its really important to me <3

Hi everybody.
I am going to spend my summer holiday in Tokyo.
I will be there for the first two weeks of July.
I want to have a lolita holiday so I want to join a Tey Party of any Lolita Brand there.
Has everyone any experiences with it?
How I can order the tickets and where I can find the informations for a Tey Party first (blogs or so) to be the first one to reserve tickets.
I am also interested in the smaller Store Tea Parties.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Greets from Germany.
