I usually wear, depending on the shoe, a US 7.5 or an US 8. My feet are a little wider, so I was wondering if any of you had any experience with sizes of AP shoes (is there a difference between tea party and heel sizes)? Based off your experience with their shoes, what size, M or L, would you recommend?

I recently found this post: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=300070706702262&set=a.171022166273784.34692.100000980042344&type=1&permPage=1

& I am very interested in getting a replica of that VM dress. But I assume that her supplier is a store on taobao & I want to check reviews first before ordering. Has anyone else ordered from loli-loli paradise? How is her service?
Also, I was wondering if it would be cheaper to just order directly from that taobao store considering I have relatives in China.
Thanks!

I was able to get a picture. First of all, I am sorry to say that I don't have pictures because my mother was so irate that she had me put them away in the shipping bags so that she could try and return them. But anyways. Details under the cut:

Hey there! I'm Rhea. I'm totally new to lolita fashion, although I have been learning about it since I was 12 (I'm 16 now...). I never really believed I could pull off this fashion, but now my mind is totally made up. I've gotten soo much inspiration from all the great dressers here in this community. I was soo pleased with how many people take there time to get every detail in this fashion to the peak of perfection! Of course, I wouldn't want to dissappoint myself and could use some help.

Recently, I've ordered a dress from the dreaded site, Milanoo and so has one of my close friends. She got her dress before me and I was surprised to see that it wasn't horrid at all. I wanted to know if anyone else has ever ordered from this site and your expirience with it. Also, I've noticed popular hair clips that most loli's wear. They have large stars on them (usually gold or pink) and little pearls that trail down. I think they're called 'Milkyway' clips? Anyone know where to find them?

I'm soo glad I found this great community. Thanks soo much for welcoming me. You've all been soo very kind. ~<3

I've been talking with [livejournal.com profile] smithsonain regarding how to go about designing the lolita co-ord application/website (you can read the original post here), and we both thought it would be a great idea to survey the community.

Basically we'd like to know what you'd like to see implemented in the site, what you expect from the website in general and more importantly, what would make a great name! So if you have some time and would like to contribute some of your ideas, that would be most appreciated.

Onwards to the survey! )

I've been a longtime admirer of Lolita fashion but it wasn't until last June that I took the plunge and started buying it. Even though it's only been a few months, I've built up quite a collection. I don't own any brand at this time but I hope to one day. I'm just waiting for the right dress.

I know its quite early but I like to plan things before it happens = w =

I've been going nuts over new arriving loli-dresses but then I notice I still

need a graduation dress (out 8th grade). The graduating dresses I've seen

doesn't seem to like, so I thought, maybe I should find a lolita dress that can suite
my graduating.

I thought about getting this one.(idk if the fabric is heavy or hot since I'm graduating in the summer)

Any suggestions or what I should do?

Hello lovelies, I have a probably very silly sounding question for you all. You see, tomorrow I am heading to San Francisco and I am very excited to visit both Baby's and AP's stores and (hopefully) purchase a little gift from them both. As I'll be spending most of the day indoors I thought it the perfect opportunity to wear Lolita, but I'm having trouble now in knowing what is or isn't considered rude to wear when shopping at both stores. I decided to go with an indie brand skirt to play it safe, but was hoping to pair it with an Innocent World cutsew. Not that I think anyone will be specifically asking what brand I'm wearing but it made me wonder if that would be considered rude if I was wearing something a little more obvious of the brand. Obviously if I were attending a brand Tea Party or event I certainly wouldn't wear something blatantly from a competitor, but for everyday shopping? Is it still just as rude?

Hello everyone! This is my small, yet growing wardrobe. I started wearing Lolita almost exactly a year ago, and this is what I have. :) I hope you guys like. You all will notice my fondness for polka dots and heart bags *which I should really stop purchasing for a while xD*

Hi there! Here´s a future lolita! I don't know if I'm doing this right, but I wanted to ask for some reference of this Bodyline dress:

I love the design and everything, I just wanted to know if it has good quality, if anyone can help I'll appreciate it ♥ Thanks in advance and if this message is wrong in some way, tell me

It's taken me this long to remember what I wanted to ask you guys. Wow.

So my question is this:
I will hopefully be making a trip to Japan in June or July. I will be visiting a friend in Narashino, Japan, which is very close to Tokyo. I plan on making at least one day trip there (and probably more). I really want to visit Harajuku. If you were going, would you feel brave enough to wear your loli out in public with the other folks in Harajuku? What about other parts of Tokyo?

Also, does anyone know of any good shops in Tokyo that sell plus sized items? I know it's still a long shot because of my rather large chest, but I'm hoping maybe I can pick up some cute skirts.
