A little Demonia info needed!
Sep. 8th, 2006 12:37 amHi! I'm thinking of getting a pair of shoes from Demonia and I'll like to ask for some help on sizes if possible. I measured my foot and it's about 23.5 - 24 centimeters long. Therefore what size should I order from Demonia to ensure a good fit?? I'm Asian so I'm a little unsure about US womens' shoe sizes :X
Comfort Value?
Sep. 8th, 2006 01:25 amIt just occurred to me that my next anime convention will soon come (and go quickly, as all things you look forward to for a year do) and after that I'll be buckling down for college and my life of the future.
Which means, in my language, I going loli clothes shopping. XD
I've had my eye on some of those cute Rocking Horse shoes for .. awhile. I think they're just so, so awesome. But I have questions, before I set aside so much money for a pair of shoes.
First of all, I can fit between an 8 and a 9 1/2, depending on the company. Do they make them that big? Knowing alot of girls have petite feet, and I really don't.. -_||
Secondly, I'm also a total spaz. They're platforms, which I'm weary of because I have a bad tendancy to roll my ankles in high shoes. Which is why I'm 18 and just now training myself to wear low heels. XD I'm willing to take the risk for these though!
I'm interested in knowing how comfortable these shoes are. Am I going to want to wear them regularly? Or are these something I'm going to want to put away until special occasions? Price aside, because I own $96 BeBe shoes I've only worn twice. I want to know if I'm going to kill myself on these.
Thanks. ^^;

Sep. 8th, 2006 12:16 pmHas anyone ordered through Celga before? I know I've been bugging them like crazy because I just bought my first dress and I want it now! (*Cue Veronica from Willy Wonka!*) I don't think I'm going to order through them again because I think it's stupid the way you have to ask to have request to have it shipped to you, when you have no idea when your shipment gets to them. Talk about putting the cart before the horse. I am also anxious because I really wanted to wear the dress to a con on the 9/23, but I need it by 9/21. Should I just keep requesting everyday after the 10 day mark (they say things usually get to them within 10-14 days, I ordered on 8/27)? Do they only send you a reply email if they have it in stock? Help?

Sep. 8th, 2006 06:24 pmHey Kittens! Can some of you give me a heads-up please: are people within the US slowing down on the buying from the sellers in the community? Or are there still people willing to buy local good quality stuff for a brand-comparable prices? has the market been finally saturated to a comfortable humm? Thanks!

boutiques in nagoya?
Sep. 8th, 2006 08:02 pmhi guys,
i'm hashing together a spur of the moment plan to drag myself and
celticfreefall to Japan for spring break, specifically to nagoya because its the closest to my friend's apartment and it's where three loli boutiques (meta, baby, and angelic pretty) are located. are those the only ones? i've been trying to look up if vic. maiden or IW or mary magdalene have boutiques in that area, but its hard to navigate question marks and engrish.
so, if you know of loli boutiques in the nagoya area, please tell me ^_^

Sep. 8th, 2006 11:08 pmI have a sewing question for everyone.
I really like this dress:

and I got it but it was too short. So I want to make it. Is there any english pattern that I can follow or tweek a little to achieve this? Or perhaps are there a few different patterns i can combine?
Sorry for such a novice question, I'm a novice sewer.
Thanks in advance and have a good weekend!

Sep. 8th, 2006 11:41 pmThere was a entry saved in the memories but I guess it got deleted.
I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for fake blood that is permanent and thin. I've been suggested both fabric paint and arcylics but both look strongly synthetic.
