For those who are not part of the community devoted to the subgenre of lolita fashion known as erololi ("erotic lolita") but who have an interest in either it, or design, please pop on over to the erololi community and check out the design contest going on here that is related to the theme of the month- corsets. Thank you for looking and I hope that there will be many creative participants~ (Prizes will be awarded to the top three winners~)

Hi. :] I'm getting new frames tomorrow, and though I usually wear contacts, I'm going as a Mad Hatter Ouiji to Jacon in April and I'm borrowing my friend's crazy white-out contacts that are non-prescription so I'll have to wear my glasses unless I don't mind bumping into walls. ^_^; I was wondering what kind of frames do you think might work well with this look, as well as EGA (because, let's face it, you never know when I just can't wear my contacts and I happen to be dressing up).

I imagined maybe old granny-styled ones, like small, simple metal square ones that you wear low on your nose, or even half-moon spectacles (think Albus Dumbledore) if they have them.

What do you think?

Thanks for reading!

Sorry!

I'm sorry for posting inappropriately, I didn't think someone really wanted me to link to every single thing since it wasn't EXACTLY a sale post. I think that's what I did wrong...

I appologize for taking up room in the community.

The return of backyard boredom on a windy day. I also had a pic from last night where I wore a more casual outfit, and the same Meta top but in white (I'm carrying a drink in it, so posted it in my personal journal, just in case ^_^).

Hi!
Just a quick note to the Lolitas living in the Sydney area in Australia:
I think it must a new store called Shibuya on Sussex Street in the City and it was quite dark when I saw through the store window but I think it is a new shop selling EGL clothing. Yay!
Anyway, just thought I'd let you guys know if you wanted to check it out.
Bai Bai.

I received a new blouse a couple of days ago, and normally I don't like bodyline's quality. This blouse stood out to me because of the rose eyelet and venice lace that is dripping off of this thing.

(I also needed a new blouse to go under a new JSK, so why not?)

The only thing that bugged me was the tight elastic around the wrist, making the sleeves way too poofy for my taste. Also, it rode up when I bent my arm at all. I did what I had to do, and seam ripped the elastic on the cuff.

 Dun dun dun...

Hiya, I'm not sure if this is posted before but for those of you who are interested in Bodyline products, they're having this sale, slashing prices as low as 70 percent off! *__*

Maybe... maybe not. )

Get a mini iron. I command ye. Pressing the seams in really tight places like sleeves or where a larger iron won't follow the curve like a princess seam? Easy. (Though for the princess seam you ought to get a tailor's ham for best result with the princess seam.) Turning out and ironing a round collar? Easy, just slide the iron between the two layers and poke the tip into the seam. Pressing the seam where ruffles join without flattening the ruffle? Sure.

I had posted about this a couple weeks before Christmas but was told I should post a reminder after New Years. I was planning a meet up for the PA, NJ , and NY lolis. This will consist of a ballet. I posted info about it before but here is more info direct from the website. This the ballet 'Alice in Wonderland Follies'. The tickets are 30$ per person but the website says they give group discounts.

The ballet doesn't start until March but I wanted to start getting things going because the tickets have been on sale since Sept. You can buy tickets through ticketmaster.com but again I would rather us all buy the tickets together to get a group discount. The ballet is showing Fri March 3rd to Sunday March 5th at various times. I figure by the end of the month we should hopefully have gotten this together enough so that we have our tickets. Before I can call and get the discounted price, I need to know how many people are going. Thanks a bunch. Any questions just ask.

Since the ballet isn't cheap, I'm not sure if anything else afterward will be happening. It all depends on how much of a discount we get.

I don't think I can put a poll here, so the only thing I can think of is everyone can post which day and time they would rather go to. There are nine shows and they can be found at the link I posted.

Edit: The box office is closed until tomorrow. I will call tomorrow for the price.

Edit: The number of people to get the discount is at least 10 and the discount is $26.25

I know this was asked not too long ago, but I forgot to put the link into my memories. Does anyone have the link to the silk screening tutorial? Or was it screen printing? Also if any one has any advice on this process that would be greatly helpful. Thanks
