Hi everyone!

This is my first time to actually post something here, and I wish I could be leaving something more exciting!

Actually, I am trying to get a loli outfit assembled, and what to make sure I have all the pieces right...blouse, skirt, mary janes, petticoat, headpiece...

My biggest question...Socks. I've seen stripy black and white hose, and lacy over-the-knee socks, and spiderweb tights, and a million other things. What do you guys think makes for the best effect under a black blouse and a black skirt with white lace? Tights? Socks? Garters? I do have slightly thick calves, and probably would prefer black to white, but then again I am not sure what would make the ideal look. I'm striving for as close to authenticity as I can get on an itty bitty budget.

Which brings me to my next point...I'm going to Japan in a week and a half. Any recommendations for loli must-sees/stores in the Tokyo area? I suppose clothing stores aren't so much of interest, since I'm far from the requiem 4'11" and 88lbs... (^^;) But maybe accessories and the like...I was actually in Japan just in August, but didn't know where to exactly to look for stuff. I did however score a Harajuku EGL hello kitty keychain, but that's about it. I'll probably go on the hunt for the new lolita bible, and anything else I can bring back to share with my fellow loli's.

And one last thing...I just got photoshop and have barely any idea how to use it, but I have been attempting to make icons. This Mana one I'm currently using is one I just barely created (took me forever!) and I'm kinda proud I can debut it right here for you all! Whee! Thanks everyone for reading!

Anybody want a pair of black velvet long gloves? I bought a pair because they were pretty, and then realized, duh, I hate wearing gloves, I'll never wear them. They're new in package... say $5 + shipping to where ever you may be (about $1 in the US, $2 to Canada)? I do have a photo, but as they're still in the package it's not very clear other than for demonstrating that they're in the package.

Has anyone seen it? She has a tiny top hat on with an attached veil and a somewhat gothic lolita outfit on. I love the hat!

More behind the cut and two things that I made *cough* Very easy things too. And it's not very Loli, just a tad bit. : / I haven't finished the dresses or what not yet.
