(well blah, I barely ever post here. please forgive me?)
I have 10 metres / almost 8' of bright red tulle.
I want to make a (wearable) skirt.
I friend of mine told me one way to make it. Now I'm writing here to check if anyone has any suggestions of how you could make a skirt out of all that tulle. (of course you may add other fabrics and stuff, but that was pretty obvious I suppose..)
Some inspiring pictures would also be greatly appreciated. :)

okay, so here's my problem. i'm part of this ezboard community called Gothic Lolita and HP_Meowcraft (the owner of the board) posted this past auction of a mook called "Alice Doll." it's not really like the G&LBs, more like Kera magaziine by the looks of it. but anyway, does anyone know what it IS exactly? has anybody heard of it? any help would be much appreciated cuz i'd really like a copy of this. who wouldn't? it looks like the mook is filled with loli street snaps!!
here's a picky of the cover:

hello everyone!
Sep. 20th, 2003 11:31 pmi am new here so i thought i'd shortly introduce myself.
my name is Ceyda and i am a Turk living in Sweden and newly interested in gothic-lolita stuff.and will hopefully visit my sister living in Kyoto someday soon so as to do a bit of shopping and enjoy being among friendly Japanese people.
i love the photos and the items being shared on this community.
well anyway
i have had some fabric lying around at home for a few months now and everytime i tried to sew something i just totally failed at it or ended up shouting at the sewing machine.
however a few days ago i decided on adding some nice things on one of my plain dresses instead.
i added white collar to a plain black velvet dress and made a white petticoat(does not look so nice but works for making the nice puff) and then added small black bows to knee high white socks and tried making a headband.
it does not look too much like a loli thing but more like a french-maid dress i guess....but thats the furthest i could get in my first attempt
i am putting some photos behind the cut;they are taken by my crappy web-cam but good enough for giving an idea of what my first attempts look like.
