I'm absolutely certain this has been discussed before, but does anyone know of any good pinafore patterns?
I'd love to find any online DIY sites/tutorials, since I like drafting my own patterns, but any numbers would also be great.

It's spring, and I crave pinafore... myu...

And for that matter, which of the various cheap trim places are your favorite? I haven't had any luck in finding thrift clothes with nice trims, and I need about a bazillion yards of black lace for the gown I'm making.

Myu.

i've posted comments a couple of times, but i realized i haven't actually de-lurked yet, so i just wanted to say hi and hello. i love the gothic & lolita style, visual kei, and as far as anime goes, right now i'm hooked on witch hunter robin, hellsing, and chobits. i make all my own clothes and thrift for the rest. now if only i could make boots... i'd be all set ^_^

Elegant Gothic Lolita?

Hi ^^v

I'm not sure what would be the best material for a circle skirt I'm making -- I want it to have the look of cotton type fabric, but I was hoping to find something that doesn't wrinkle as much. Also, it seems likes many of the cotton fabrics I find are geared for quilters and are too thin... The print I want (blue floral) is also hard to find in anything but quilting fabric ><;
any recommendations?
