Bodyline L144 Carousel Print Review & Requesting Stain/Modification Advice

Helloooo, I just finished a review of Bodyline's carousel print JSK, L144.

Onto the stain/modification advice... If you read my review you'll see that the dress came with some stains on one of the ribbons.


I was thinking of ways I could fix this. Like should I try to treat the stain? I'm almost clueless when it comes to stains, especially when it comes to this one, not knowing where it came from, how long it's been there, or what to use on it.

My other idea was just cutting off the end, which just seems easier to me. Since the stains are small and close to the end I don't think it will make a big, noticeable difference to the length and since it's a diagonal cut, I don't think it'll fray much. Even if it did I think I have a sealant I could use on it. But I'm still a little apprehensive about this because I've never cut any part of a lolita dress before.

So does anyone have any advice for me? Thanks in advance. :)
