Lockshop Review - POSITIVE

I have ordered from Lockshop before and have yet to be disappointed, so when I was having a browse of their products with Halloween in mind I decided to get another couple of pieces. I wanted unnatural colours (I have only bought relatively natural looking wigs from them before) and styles that I can't achieve with my short hair. ...And I was naughty and bought myself a bat hair clip too, because why not?

Ordering
Ordering from Lockshop is quick and easy. Their website is very easy to navigate and there are clear descriptions on what to expect from your order. As I was ordering items that were discounted and discontinued, there was a clear writeup of the faults of the product and that I was to take this into account before placing my order.

Shipping
I normally don't bother with super fast shipping as I'm rarely in a rush to receive my items but on this occasion I didn't want my order to arrive after Halloween! So I chose 'TNT' (track and insured) which cost a little extra but was worth it. My order arrived before I'd even received the 'shipped' email so that's fantastic.

Cost
I bought discounted items with a discount code so ultimately the cost of the wigs and hair clip was pretty cheap! Shipping doesn't get discounted so that was that took up the bulk of the cost.

Mermaid Grey  = 18,30 €
Soft Curly Bob Candyfloss  =	12,71 €
Spacebats Duo Pin/Clip Black	= 9,00 €

So overall it came to 52,30 including my discount and shipping. Not too bad I thought.


The Items
This was how my wigs came. Nice and safe in a strong box, a little bashed up from the journey but that's not the shops fault.


Very presentable wrapping! It's lovely when things are given care as opposed to just throwing them into a bag.


Wigs! Safe packaging so they don't get squashed, same as all the other wigs I've received from various places.
I also got two free wig caps, though I'm not sure whether that's normal now as I am a repeat customer and it didn't happen last time. Either way, it was a nice surprise.


First wig, the Mermaid Gray style. It's now sold out but for 18,30€ I was very pleased with the quality. As taken from the website "this style is discounted because of weight issues, it's not as full as it should've been so we decided to offer it for a discounted price! Please keep that in mind when placing your order." It's not as full as the other Mermaid style I have but I knew that when I ordered. The colour is gorgeous and perfect for what I have in mind for Halloween!


Now, the Soft Curly Bob Candyfloss wig. I was a touch disappointed with the way this one arrived. On the site it said "this style is discounted due to problems with the wig tracks showing through, make sure that this is not a problem when purchasing it", and that was fine with me. However, as you can see on the photos the style is uneven on one side. It probably was packed funny or something but I'm sure it'll fine with a little retouching and styling. Anyone have any tips on getting the flat side a little more bounce and curl?

This was why I didn't mind the tracks issue! Perfect wigs for cute hats in winter :) (I feel like Vanille from FF13 in this wig!)


The bat clip is perfect and needs no review. Exactly as the photos on the site show!

Overall
A pleasant store with consistently good products. I will probably order from them again! Only issue is a slightly malformed curled wig that shouldn't be too hard to rejig.
