egl_archiveHey guys! This is my first post on EGL and I wanted to share with you some of the things I've bought over the past month that I've gotten around to picking up today! This review will be about Taobaospree, some lolita items bought from Taobao, and an Australian reseller, One Day in Paradise. Hope you enjoy! ^^

Review: Taobao haul, Taobaospree and One Day in Paradise
Timeline for Taobao:
16th Sept: Order was placed, Promptly replied me with a spreadsheet of all the items for confirmation. Approximation of 2-3 weeks for items that were custom made.
2nd Oct: Doris replied me saying that they were waiting on the bonnet that I had placed as a last minute order. All other items were already delivered.
12th Oct: My package was posted to the local post office and she had given me my tracking number.
17th Oct: The tracking number didn't work. Package had not arrived, I emailed Doris to ask her what was happening.
18th Oct: Doris replied me saying that the post office was congested and that the tracking number wasn't processed until late that week. She checked EMS for me and copy and pasted the message that said it had already left China's shores and was heading for Australia!
22nd Oct: I had received my package at the correct location! I changed the address to my boyfriend's office so it would be easier to collect it. ^^
23rd Oct: Physically went to pick it up from my boyfriend's office...xD

Now, onto the item reviews!
Note: There were actually 2 more items that I bought for my friend as well, but I gave them to her before I did this review. ^^' But the items were of a good quality. One being an R-Series pin, and the other a Foxcherry333 Headdress.
I also won't list the prices of these items as I am really lazy to convert them all into AUD for you T^T (Taobaospree only accepts HKD payments so I let paypal to the converting for me. xD)
Infanta Cinderella JSK
O.M.G THIS DRESS JUST MADE ME SWOON WHEN I SAW IT ON TAOBAO! Infanta's products are always so pretty so when I saw it I had to buy it straight away. I ordered this JSK in their 'Mocha' colour in XL. My measurements are 95cm/80cm so I can just squeeze into this. (or so I thought) Surprisingly! They gave this dress a 96cm/78cm, yet I am able to wear this dress comfortably with a little room to spare at the waist. So I would say the waist will accommodate up to 82cm if you undo the lacing completely.
Another surprising thing about the dress is that...it's plastic boned! I found this to be such a bonus since a lot of my dresses tend to bunch up at the waist because I have a short waist. But infanta included boning in the front and back where the lacing panels join up. So girls, if you're looking for some support this dress offers it! The bodice looks great, the skirt looks great and the embroidery is sexy T^T. I CANNOT EXPRESS MY FEELS IN ANY OTHER WAY! Instead, here are some sexy pics of the dress.

Worn with the White Moon blouse
White Moon Blouse
I had this blouse custom size made because my bust was too big... But anyway! I really liked this blouse because it was simple and versatile. I thought the blue ribbons weren't detachable because it wasn't listed in their description, but they are detachable. (thank god, I'm not really a big fan of that blue satin ribbon that came tied around the collar.) The interesting thing about this is that the shirt tag (you know the ones they sew on the inside collar to show you the size and store name) is actually sewn on the outside underneath where the collar folds over. O_o Weird but it's okay with me, since my wigs would cover it. You can see a little pink peeping through the collar but it's not very noticeable. Here are some pics of it. I'm wearing a bodyline pannier with it.

I needed a new curly wig and I saw this so I bought it. I think that was the only reason why I got it. Here are some pics of it worn. xD

Elpress Bonnet
HURGH BONNET APPRECIATION. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH AND ELPRESS HAD IT AND GAAAAH *throws more money in the air*. It was so pretty! The only downside to it is that you'll have to wear it out to make it sit in a nice shape. The bonnet is relatively stiff so it will spring back into it's 'factory' shape if you don't adjust it. But it's really comfortable to wear and the quality is amazing (It seems Elpress quality is always good).
Chu Hua Tights
These are amazing! The size is M/L which is supposed to be for people who are 155-170cm tall. It's made in Japan which is a pleasant surprise :D. These are super comfy, except this would not fit people with larger thighs as the white lace pattern around the thigh is actually constricting, so it will only stretch to a certain amount before it won't go any further. The original price of these tights are 4,580 yen, and I think I paid less than that. Which is gooood.
The colour of the above picture is more accurate to what the tights look like.
Foxcherry333 Head Accessories
I bought a mini hat and a 'meatball' according to Google Translate. (HAHAH SO FUNNY) These are pretty cute, but the hat was a lot flatter than I had expected, but still looks good to me! The 'meatball' looks a lot better when it's attached to the headband, which is a shame since I bought it for the 'meatball' itself, and didn't realise it came with a headband. BUT FREE THINGS ARE ALWAYS GOOD! Pic spam for you lovely people <3.

Strawberry Witch Headdress
It's just a normal pink headdress which I needed for a lolita set. But the workmanship is good and it's a pretty cute bow ^^.
Innocent World Rose Lace Pochette in BlackxCafe au Lait
This was what made me broke...essentially. XD I was looking at this for a few days on the IW website and was calculating the exchange rate and shipping, and it actually turned out to be cheaper to purchase from One Day in Paradise because the exchange was so bad (for us in Australia). I paid $AUD119 plus $AUD20 for shipping. This bag is really pretty, and cozy sized. But it's spacious enough to fit everything I need to carry (wallet, phone, and a polaroid).
I was really worried about this parcel in particular, as AusPost had managed to mess things up and list my tracked item as 'delivered' on Monday when in fact it didn't arrive until Tuesday. So I had to hunt around all the local post offices' and none of them had it. So I was quite relieved to received today when I got home. This mistake had nothing to do with ODIP though.
Overall I'm really happy with what i've gotten and the quality of all these items are decent. I would definitely buy from these shops again in the future. Hope you guys appreciate this review and can understand my rambling, as I'm not going to go back and read through the emotional blaaaah I've just written. XD

The 'Wittner' plastic bag is actually a substitute my boyfriend gave me, the actual box I...didn't get to take a picture of because I asked him to take it out for me so it would be easier to carry. xD But I assure you, the quality of the box package was identical to the one of the left. Except bigger. (I alsocovered my details with a white envelope, in case you were wondering what that white thing is..xD)
