Hello everyone! A bit ago, Bubble Cafe Crafts hosted two giveaways, the prize for which was a lucky pack, one through Tumblr and one through Facebook. I won  the facebook giveaway, and I wanted to review their products and services.

Communication:

Since I won the giveaway through facebook, all communication was done through facebook. I was informed that I won the giveaway. The same night, I responded with my address and was told that my package would be shipped the following Saturday  (October 6th). That was all the communication that was necessary- I did not receive another note that the package was shipped successfully, but I trusted their word.

Shipping:

As I stated above, my package was shipped on Saturday, October 6th. I received it on Friday, October 12th. It was shipped in a regular bubble mailer. Two of the items were wrapped together in bubblewrap, and the rest of them were free-floating in the package. However, they seem durable enough, so I didn't mind.

This is what everything looked like freshly-removed from the packaging. As you can see, I received a blue and pink bow broach, a sax bon-bon cellphone charm, a pink bon-bon rink, two heavy items in bubble wrap, and four business cards. I didn't take extra pictures of the bow broach or the ring, so here's my thoughts on those:

The bow broach is made with a standard pin-backing (not a 2-way clip) and seems pretty well made. I'm not  sure when I'll wear it just because I don't normally wear broaches, but it's definitely cute! I can't find an item similar on the site though, so I can't give an estimate of the price.

The candy ring is made with an adjustable ring  base to fit all fingers. It is made of pink cotton with white polkadots and has a pink tulle overlay with gold glitter. My one criticism is that the ring base had to be glued to the tulle of the candy, causing the candy to shake a bit when you move your hands. (Also, since the candy on the ring are made the same way as the candy on the phone strap, all of my commentary about the candy on the strap apply to this ring as well.) The bonbon rings on the site are all $4.00USD and I think it is definitely worth this price.

This is what came out when I opened the bubble wrap. It's a highly-detailed cake necklace and a cookie two-way clip.

Here's closeups of the cake necklace. It comes on a very long, silver chain that seems to be strong and high-quality. It has a pink grooved base, glittery silver melting "frosting", then solid, swirly pink "frosting" with pink pearls on it, then white and pink frosting with a brown heart-shaped "cake" with pink and sax dots of "frosting" and a red strawberry on top. It's very detailed! It's also heavy- the base seems to be made of ceramic. Everything seems sturdy and well-made. My only complaint is that the paint on the uppermost "cake" layer (the pink and sax spots and the strawberry) are a bit messily painted. I still really love it though! It's sturdy and doesn't seem nearly as delicate as some other sweets deco does.

There aren't any other cake or cupcake necklaces on the site at the moment, but the bonbon necklaces are $8.00USD so I'm going to assume that necklaces like these would be around the same. If that is the case, this necklace is well worth the price.

Here's a closeup of the cookie two-way (hairclip & broach) pin (and my boyfriend's finger because he just had to be in my review somehow haha!)! I'm really in love with it. The cookie looks very realistic- instead of being just one solid shade of brown, it's several shades of brown and is darker on the edges, like real baked goods are. The individual deco pieces look wonderful, too- I love how the roses have gradients in them- the darker one has a dark-light gradient on each individual petal, and the lighter one is darker in the center and gets darker at the edges. As you can see, there's a bit of the same silver glitter from the necklace under the lighter rose. I have an inclination that this was to cover up some glue since the rose is so small. Although it looks a bit random, I like the glitter more than I would like visible glue. Also, the little lips seem a bit random, but I like it. It's cute in a ditzy way. The clip seems quite durable as well, and the cookie seems to be attatched to the base well.

The cookie two-way clips are $5.00USD each. I find this incredibly reasonable considering the quality and attention to detail given on the cookie, and will most likely be ordering another of these in the future.

Here's closeups of the bonbon phone strap. It's made from sax-and-white polkadot cotton with a sax tulle overlay with pearlized dots over the white polkadots on the front of the candy and pink bows with white pearl beads. The pearlized dots seem to be made of nailpolish. As you can see, the strap is connected to the candy by way of a ring. I like this, because the candy can be removed for easier attatchment of the strap to phones or other devices. What makes the candy round seems to be a plastic ball in the center. The fabric is wraped around the ball and then glued into place, and held gathered at the ends by two small elastics. Some of the glue is visible, but only in the back. My biggest problem with these candy pieces is that the edges of the fabric are not finished and were already fraying when I took them out of the package. I am an intermediate seamstress myself so this is an easy fix, but still.

The bonbon phone charms are $4.00USD. I find this to be very reasonable, since I've seen cheaply-made plastic phone straps for twice the price. And for this price, I think the few flaws this has to be acceptable.

Conclusion:
All in all, I think you get a bit more than what you pay for with Bubble Cafe Crafts. While the items are not perfect, they are more than wearable and look lovely when  used/worn. I will definitely be purchasing from them in the future and am satisfied with the quality of their items.

Thank you for reading!
