Ebay wig reveiw- sandylou2012
Oct. 6th, 2012 07:44 pmYou may or may not recall that I said I ordered a wig from ebay not too long ago. Well, it's here! It arrived today in the post, after 3 weeks of waiting. It was bought here. So no I'm doing a review (if you can call it that lol).
the packaging |
the tag |
It wasn't a big parcel, just an envelope with a plastic bag in it. A net stopped the wig from tangling and a piece of cardboard to protect it from being roughed up too much.
the cap |
When taken out of the bag it was in pleasingly good condition. I noticed that the cap it has is quite a bit better than my other wig.
without any headgear |
The first thing I did after putting it on was run downstairs to tell my little sister how much I love it. It looks great, not too shiny although not very soft. But having worn it for a few hours now it's quite comfortable- a teeny bit itchy but lightweight and not too hot.
I don't mean to be a nitpicker, but there was this one strand of hair that was quite long and looked odd. It was meant to be round the back of the wig but kept coming to the front. It ended up annoying me so much I cut it off.
I'm not so keen on the fact that it's longer at the back. It just looks funny to me. Might trim it at some point.
And finally, in an outfit!
not an intentional shot, but I thought it was cute anyways ^^ |
So, I'll say this. It's a nice sweet wig, though the lack of all-out pastel-cotton-candy-ness means it would be suitable for older lolis too. I love the style at the front but the back is confusing. At £9.87 with free international shipping, it's great value for money. And it arrived pretty promptly. I can't say the quality is the best ever, but it's not uncomfortable and not bad on the looks. Overall- 8/10.
Hope this helps ^^
