Babydoll-style JSK fit question

egl_archiveI have my eye on an old school Btssb jsk. It has back shirring and fits my measurements.
However I'm pretty busty, and also short. I don't have that big a frame and supposedly high-waisted items can look awkward on people that aren't petite all over. Am I better off looking for something more fitted with a longer bodice?
Anyone else have this problem, or not? Enlighten me please!
