EGA question.

First off, I'd like to say I'm sorry if this question is in violation of any of the rules, as it doesn't have to do with lolita specifically. 

I have a friend who's thinking about getting into a toned down version of EGA. Do you know of any place that is good for this besides fanplusfriend? He's been looking at theleesshop.com but I can't find any reviews on them that don't come from the site. Does anyone know if they're good to buy from?
