Cleaning an Usakumya Pochette

I'm wondering if I could wash my Usakumya some way? His face has gotten a bit grimy from use(and my sweaty palms) and i want him to be bright white again.☆ミ　☆彡





As you can tell his face is a bit grimy and not white like the rest of him. I was wondering if I put him in a pillowcase and washed him on delicate cycle, cold water, little to no detergent would it harm him in any way? Should I try spot cleaning first? I've washed stuffed animals before, and that basically what he is, a stuffed animal with his stuffing out, haha. I don't like him looking ill-kept.(」゜ロ゜)」
