Looking for help washing a cardigan and new deoderant recommendations

So the fabric is 70% acrylic, 30% wool and dry clean only, but turns out dry cleaning doesn't (and didn't) get out underarm smell. Any tips? I've read that soaking it in dish soap water with no agitation should work well, but I want opinions before I try anything.

A while ago I switched to Toms Deodorant since I heard that aluminum deodorant yellows blouses. It just isn't working for me now, so I'd love some suggestions.
